Nepenthes
This is an amazing genus of carnivorous plants. They create a pitfall trap from the end of their leaves. Often beautiful with striking colors and stripes, the peristome lines the edge of the pitcher's mouth and creates a slippery surface for bugs to slip and fall in. There are over 170 species that grow in tropical climates.
Drosera
Sundews are like living fly paper! On the surface of their leaves, small mucilaginous glands suspended on thin stalks create a sticky enzyme to trap bugs.
